You want only the best workers for your franchise. But good help can be hard to find. Here are a few suggestions to get you started:
Be the early bird
They say “the early bird gets the worm.” So be the early bird – get on the computer first thing each morning and post your job listings. Job boards are one of the biggest ways businesses find hourly workers, and they tend to function best when your job is the one appearing at the top. The only way to do that is to post, post and re-post!
Flyers flyers everywhere
Oddly enough, in addition to cyber-hiring, putting up flyers in-store and around town the old-fashioned way still works to attract new staff. Often, these locations have bulletin boards which post similar job ads and community events, so the potential workers looking at them probably live locally.
Go back to school
Sometimes, to find part-time or full-time help, you need look no further than your local college or university. Many students seek work experience, and the schools themselves may even have job fairs you can attend.
If you still have trouble finding employees, talk to your franchisor. They may have suggestions and ideas you haven’t considered.
